Cath Lab Technologist - Sikeston, MO

A highly skilled imaging professional is needed to support a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory on a contract basis. This position is ideal for those with proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech, expertise in advanced imaging, and a dedication to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credential
• Demonstrated experience in catheterization lab environments
• Proficiency with imaging systems and equipment used in interventional cardiology procedures
• Comprehensive understanding of physiology, anatomy, and sterile technique
• Ability to monitor patient vital signs, assist with contrast injections, and react promptly to emergent situations
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high patient safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Operate imaging equipment precisely for accurate visualization of coronary anatomy
• Assist physicians during catheterizations, angioplasty, and other cardiac procedures
• Monitor and record procedure data, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab technology and equipment
• Provide clear, compassionate patient instruction and post-procedure care guidance
