Cath Lab Technologist - Box Elder, SD

Skilled professionals with experience in imaging, particularly as a Cath Lab Tech, are sought for an exciting contract opportunity within a medical facility's advanced cardiac care department. This position involves working closely with physicians and the interventional cardiology team to support a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, using state-of-the-art imaging technology to ensure the highest quality patient care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related field
• ARRT or RCIS certification preferred
• Proven work history as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures, sterile technique, and imaging equipment operation
• Ability to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment for cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing education and support as needed
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards throughout all phases of care
• Assist physicians during coronary, peripheral, and electrophysiology procedures
• Accurately document patient information and procedure details in electronic medical records
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to any changes or emergent situations
• Participate in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and compassionate patient care

$3,483 - $3,672/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
