Service Technician

We're on the hunt for a friendly Service Technician to join our crew at Sun State Ford in Orlando, FL. If you know your way around cars, especially Ford vehicles, and have your ASE and Ford certifications, we'd love to chat. Your day-to-day will be all about tackling specific repair orders and figuring out exactly what needs fixing.

Responsibilities

• Knock out the work listed on repair orders quickly and correctly
• Take vehicles for test drives and use diagnostic tools to check out different systems
• Fix up everything from engines to brakes, air conditioning, electrical systems – you name it
• Keep the Service Advisor in the loop so customers know if anything extra needs attention, plus give time estimates for those repairs
• Handle warranty repairs following manufacturer specs

Requirements

• You’ve been a Service Technician for at least 2 years (bonus if you’ve worked at a Ford dealership before)
• High school diploma or equivalent and ASE Certification are a must
• Ford Certification is a big plus
• B level skills in Diagnostics, Electrical work, and Engine Repair
• Good with your hands – steady and coordinated
• Know how to troubleshoot and use electronic diagnostic gear
• Great with customers and pretty comfortable with basic computers
• Positive attitude and always eager to learn and get better
• Enjoy being part of a team and working in a fast-paced place
• Always ready to take on new tech, repair techniques, and dealership procedures
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record
