Classroom Paraprofessional

River Grove School District 85.5 is seeking a paraprofessional to support classroom instruction.

The paraprofessional will work closely with classroom teachers to provide instructional and social-emotional support and help students succeed.

Job Responsibilities may include:

• Leading and supporting small-group instructional activities
• Providing social-emotional support to students
• Working one-on-one or shoulder-to-shoulder with students to reinforce learning
• Collaborating with classroom teachers to meet students' individual needs

Salary: Starting at $21.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 49 college semester hours OR successful completion of the WorkKeys Assessment Skills Test (offered at Triton College)
• Valid Paraprofessional License
• Ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
