Innovation Center Test Labs Supervisor

Our Innovation Center Test Lab team is integral to the success of helping to support all of our new product development projects. This position will work cross functionally to support Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove development and testing requests.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling: Supervise Lab Staff to ensure testing is prioritized and completed in an efficient manner. Utilize Agile for lab reporting.
• Forecasting: Communicate with both BU (Business Unit) and NPD (new product development) project teams to estimate resource availability from test plans.
• Lab Projects: Work with engineering/facilities to implement new equipment and/or procedures that improve testing capabilities and time to test completion rates.
• Test Process: Work with all levels to identify and implement improvements to the test process.
• Safety: Perform “STOP” Audits as required and review safety items routinely with staff and engineers to prevent injuries.
• Training: Identify Training needs of Lab Staff and coordinate/provide training.
• Supervisory responsibilities: Supervision for Test Lab team including Performance Management for the team
• Housekeeping: Ensure test components are kept in the inventory system for testing and dispositioned to keep the labs organized and clean.
