- Analyze system and subsystem requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, quality, and program teams to integrate features, resolve technical issues, and deliver tested product solutions.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and debug complex test systems, equipment, fixtures, and electromechanical test environments.
- Design or support the development of test fixtures and test setups using tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, and LabVIEW.
- Perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and measurement system analysis to evaluate test results, accuracy, precision, and stability.
- Document, communicate, and present test activities, results, defects, risks, and recommendations to engineering and program stakeholders.
- Create clear defect reports, track anomalies using designated tools, verify effectiveness of resolutions, and document retest results.
- Participate in cadaver labs or simulated-use environments to build understanding of surgical workflows and product use cases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system test processes, procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Provide guidance, technical support, or training to less experienced team members as needed.
- Support compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including IEC 60601, as appropriate.
