Electrician Apprentice-Spectra

About the Role STRATA Networks is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Electrician Apprentice to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside journeyman and master electricians while supporting reliable electrical operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll: - Assist journeyman and master electricians with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects. - Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using appropriate tools and equipment. - Perform general labor duties, including digging trenches and holes for conduit and electrical supports. - Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites. - Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and applicable electrical codes. - Document completed work and communicate project updates as needed. - Provide on-call support to clients and assist with troubleshooting electrical issues. - Follow industry safety standards and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). - Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Team To be successful, you'll need: - A high school diploma or equivalent. - An Electrical Trainee Certification. - Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices. - Ability to understand electrical schematics and technical manuals. - Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - A valid driver's license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations. Work Environment and Conditions - Regular schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Participation in 24/7 on-call rotations as scheduled. - Work at client locations and potentially hazardous job sites. - Work around electrical systems, construction equipment, and other occupational hazards. - Use appropriate PPE and follow all required safety procedures. - Work at heights and in various indoor and outdoor environments. - Wage $18-$22 Physical Demands - Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting objects weighing over 100 pounds. - Ability to climb and work at elevations using ladders, poles, climbing gaffs, and lift trucks. - Ability to dig, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods. - Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and electrical equipment.
