Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Trade Processing Clerk supports the accurate processing, reconciliation, and clearing of trades. You will enter and review trade information, investigate discrepancies, make necessary corrections, and support daily and end-of-day checks.

This is a junior-level opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to CME Group, EURONEXT and other domestic and international markets, while learning how trades are processed and cleared behind the scenes. Primary Responsibilities

  • Enter trades executed in the CME Eurodollar trading pit into the relevant systems and review them for accuracy.
  • Reconcile same-day CME pit trades using the FEC exchange screen.
  • Review and help resolve trade-edit issues, including CTR, broker codes and time brackets.
  • Make corrections to trade entries and allocations for pit orders and trade cards.
  • Ensure trade submissions are completed within required CME Group exchange deadlines.
  • Monitor and resolve daily out trades in FEC for firms 400 and 826.
  • Allocate paper give-up execution orders, except where allocations are completed through file loads.
  • Use DUCO to create mid-day position offset reports for EURONEXT markets.
  • Perform regular DUCO trade and position reconciliations throughout the day across domestic and international markets.
  • Assist with CTI and house/customer end-of-day clearing checks.
  • Communicate with trading desks and brokers to resolve issues relating to trade cards and paper orders.
  • Sort, file and maintain physical trade tickets for StoneX and its sub-firms, including retrieving documentation when required for compliance audits.
  • Support end-of-day office checkout procedures across both domestic and international markets.
  • Develop an understanding of carrying broker relationships and how they support the trade-clearing process.
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
  • Support additional trade-processing and operational responsibilities as required by the team.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the futures industry.
  • Knowledge of GMI and DUCO is preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Ability to work full-time, 5 days per week in the office.

Working Environment

  • You will work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment.
  • The role operates in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment, where accuracy and meeting trade-processing deadlines are important.
  • Minimal physical activity is required, aside from occasional light lifting of boxed materials.

Hiring Salary Range $40,000-$50,000/year (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
