Work Location

• 1001 Frontier Rd, Suite 100, Bridgewater, NJ
• 4 days onsite, 1 remote per week

Responsibilities:

• Compliance
• Prepare monthly and quarterly state sales and use tax returns which includes filings, payments, prepare journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Audit
• Assist tax staff in pre-audit preparation for sales and use tax audits including store and fixed asset listings, trial balances.
• Pull relevant sales and expense details for requested test samples.
• Provide invoices chosen for review.
• Ariba
• Assist tax staff in clearing day-to-day Ariba tax exceptions.
• Other
• Additional projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in preparing and filing state sales and use tax returns
• Knowledge of sales and use tax compliance and reporting at the state and local levels.
• Experience with SAP Ariba - preferred
