Stefanini is looking for a Prototype Build Engineer, Auburn Hills, MI For quick apply, please reach out to Lovkesh Bharti at 248-727-2506/lovkesh.bharti@stefanini.com The Prototype Build Engineer will be responsible for managing all prototype build activities including developing and communicating build plans based on vehicle specifications, coordinating purchasing, tracking development, and program timing for parts. In addition, this individual will be responsible for leading multiple teams to ensure all program deliverables are met and any issues affecting build quality, engineering design, manufacturing process, and timing are resolved. The Prototype Build Engineer must have the ability to direct issue resolution at all levels.

Experience Required

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Aero/Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred
• Candidates must possess a strong mechanical engineering foundation with exposure to the following areas: Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Success Factor.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in automotive, aerospace field
• Basic vehicle build process knowledge
• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
• Must be comfortable with preparing presentations and presenting to all levels
• Formula SAE experience or relevant automotive internship experience is preferred for entry level candidates
• This opportunity is well-suited for a recent engineering graduate or an early-career engineer seeking hands-on experience in prototype vehicle builds.
