They contribute across the software development lifecycle - from software architecture and coding through quality testing and deployment. Full-stack software engineers who develop both user-interface and server-side components are also included in this job function.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using appropriate tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (such as Agile), and technologies.
• Assess application or service requirements and determine suitable technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
• Create high-level software architecture designs outlining the application's structure, components, and interfaces.
• Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organizational goals, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Continuously improve performance and optimize applications; implement technologies that increase development efficiency.
• Apply software engineering practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications, including APIs and microservices, using server-side languages.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities; monitor and participate in solutions for new technology-stack layers, often involving industry collaboration.

Skills Required

• Swift: 6+ years of hands-on experience writing code for mobile applications using Swift and the iOS app development ecosystem. At least 3 years of experience with mobile frontend application architecture, including modular application design, state management, and navigation strategies.
• Kotlin: 6+ years of experience writing code for mobile applications using Kotlin and the Android app development ecosystem. At least 3 years of experience with mobile frontend application architecture, including modular application design, state management, and navigation strategies.

Experience Required

• Senior Mobile Engineer - experience in two coding languages, or advanced experience in one language; provides guidance. 10+ years in IT and 8+ years in development.
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in native iOS or Android application development.
• 6+ years of experience with Swift and the iOS app development ecosystem, or Kotlin and the Android app development ecosystem.
• 3+ years of mobile frontend application architecture experience, including modular application design, state management, and navigation strategies.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree.
