Working under the Contractor’s Task Order Site Lead and in coordination with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the CM monitors the General Contractor’s work for compliance with project specifications, VA standards, codes, and Medical Center requirements through schedule and milestone monitoring, submittal and RFI management, constructability and phasing reviews, value engineering, field inspections, testing and commissioning oversight, change order and cost support, safety compliance monitoring, claims assistance, and project closeout. The CM applies sound professional judgment to evaluate technical documentation, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with applicable local, state, federal, and VA design standards, The Joint Commission (TJC), and OSHA requirements, while minimizing disruption to patient care, hospital operations, and ongoing medical services.
