Product Engineer

A bit about the Founder: Thejo https://www.linkedin.com/in/thejo/, is a multiple-time founder who previously built Airbase (acquired by Paylocity for ~$400M) and Automatic (YC S11, acquired by SiriusXM for $115M). He has since started his own venture studio, where he is incubating a couple of companies and building the initial teams.

About the Role

We are looking for deeply technical Product Engineers who thrive in high-ownership environments and have a strong bias toward building and shipping. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our core products.

Responsibilities

• Work within the fundamentals - TypeScript, Javascript
• Build user-facing applications
• Work within small team with end-to-end product ownership
• Significantly shape the product and engineering culture as the team grows

Skills & Experience Needed

• 5+ years of experience in software development and engineering
• Prior experience working at early-stage startups, ideally as one of the first ten to twenty employees
• Demonstrated success in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Think and operate like a founding engineer
• Quick to adapt and eager to learn, especially in AI-enabled product contexts
• A bias for action and fast experimentation
• Craftsmanship in software development, with strong attention to detail, performance, and polish
• Collaborative, humble, and user-first in thinking
• Exposure to mobile app development is a plus
