Original job description
Role Summary Stealth Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Integration Technical Architect to support a federal client. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions that connect Salesforce to mission-critical government systems, translating complex interoperability requirements into resilient architectures. This is a hybrid position; candidates must reside in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) area to support occasional in-person client and team meetings.
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt Status: Funded Position. This position supports an active, funded government contract. Clearance / Eligibility: U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Stealth Solutions participates in E-Verify. Employment is contingent upon the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of integration solutions connecting Salesforce (Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio) with external and legacy government systems, ensuring alignment with client business needs, platform best practices, and long-term scalability.
- Define end-to-end integration architecture, including API strategy, middleware design, data flow diagrams, and system-of-record boundaries across Salesforce and third-party platforms.
- Design and govern integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Bulk API, and Pub/Sub API, selecting the appropriate pattern (real-time, near-real-time, or batch) for each use case.
- Architect and oversee middleware and ESB solutions (e.g., MuleSoft Anypoint Platform) that connect Salesforce with case management, financial, identity, and other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to translate epics and user stories into technical integration designs and interface control documents (ICDs).
- Oversee configuration and development of Apex callouts, Integration Procedures, and OmniStudio DataRaptors supporting integration workflows.
- Define and enforce integration security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, Named Credentials, mutual TLS, and API gateway policies aligned with federal requirements.
- Develop, review, and approve technical documentation, integration design artifacts, and release packages.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT standards, including FedRAMP, Section 508, NIST 800-53, and data security requirements.
- Identify integration risks related to performance, data integrity, and security; propose mitigation strategies and resolve technical challenges.
- Support CI/CD pipeline configuration and enforce development standards, source control, and automated testing practices for integration components.
- Contribute to enterprise integration strategy and roadmap planning for long-term Salesforce programs.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the full integration lifecycle.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of contract requirements.

- 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce, including at least 3 years in an integration-focused architectural role
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce integration architecture, API design, data flow, and integration security patterns
- Hands-on experience with middleware and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft Anypoint Platform) and API management
