Starbird Chicken is looking for a full-time Chef to join our food service team in Seattle, WA.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This is a full-time job in Seattle. The schedule may vary but will always be during business hours. You will have steady shifts and spend your time working in the kitchen and helping guests.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As a Chef, you will prepare food and keep your work area clean. Throughout your shift, you will juggle different tasks and always focus on giving guests a good experience. You'll prepare delicious sandwiches and salads while also assisting with prep and overall kitchen operations. You will restock cook stations and keep them clean and organized, put away deliveries, and assist with any additional duties assigned.

Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Physical Abilities:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend and reach overhead often
• Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment
• Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
• Must be comfortable working near open flames
• May be required to work in tight spaces
• Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is required
• Must be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally
• Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
