Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday

Frequent out-of-town travel with overnight stays Monday-Thursday; occasional one- or two-day assignments.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, floor plans, and planograms.
• Additional retail, merchandising, or construction-related training is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Previous merchandising, retail reset, store remodel, warehouse, stocking, assembly, or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed project instructions and complete assignments accurately.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight Monday through Thursday as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Capable of handling shelving, fixtures, merchandise, and project materials.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work in active retail environments.
• Ability to work extended periods on store remodel and merchandising projects.
• Must be able to travel regularly and work at various retail locations.

Job Duties

• Tear down, reset, and install retail shelving, fixtures, displays, and merchandising layouts.
• Read and execute planograms to ensure accurate product placement and store presentation.
• Unload merchandise, shelving, and fixtures from delivery trucks.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise according to company and customer standards.
• Apply shelf labels, signage, and pricing materials as required.
• Assist with retail store remodels, merchandising projects, and fixture installations.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scheduled labor hours.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working with store personnel and project teams.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and project guidelines.

What You Will Do

As a Merchandising Crew Member you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position. Successful Merchandising Crew Member professionals demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work while contributing to organizational success.

• Merchandising Retail Hardware Stores located in 10 mid-Atlantic states Usually out of Town M – TH with some one or two day assignments.
• Roles and Responsibilities – Read and follow detailed instructions to assemble basic plan-o-grams Assist team members and store personnel : Unloading Merchandise Installing shelving Stocking shelves according to store standards Setting up store fixtures Labeling shelving and merchandise Ensure established safety standards are in place Ensure project activities are within budgeted hours, determined deadlines and allotted resources Deliver “Strong” customer service to internal and external customers Follow all company policies and procedures
