We are looking for entry level Machine Operator assistants. Will be assisting with operating manual grinding machines to shape and finish metal components with precision. This role requires hands-on experience with manual surface grinders, Blanchard, and/or milling machines.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
• Experience operating grinding machines, milling machines, or similar production equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of manual surface grinders, Blanchard grinders, or milling machines is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn machine operations are encouraged.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery and moving equipment.
• Must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Duties

• Assist machine operators with the setup and operation of manual grinding and machining equipment.
• Help operate manual surface grinders, Blanchard grinders, and milling machines to shape and finish metal components.
• Load and unload materials and finished parts from machines.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy while maintaining production standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Support production teams with additional manufacturing tasks as needed.
