You will partner closely with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to keep goods moving efficiently through the supply chain, every shipment, every time.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate import and export shipments from origin through final delivery, and arrange transportation, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
  • Track shipments, resolve transportation issues, delays, and discrepancies, and communicate status and requirements to internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, update logistics systems, coordinate container movements with warehouses, and support inventory control and supply chain operations.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, international business, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in import/export, logistics, freight forwarding, or international transportation required.

  • Experience with air and ocean freight coordination, customs documentation, and shipment tracking preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data entry, reporting, and logistics management systems.
  • Experience working with freight carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse or distribution center operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods to manage logistics systems, shipping documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone and email with carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to review detailed shipping and customs documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
