Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up double reach forklift to navigate narrow aisles and high-tier racking.
• Extend and retract forks horizontally using pantograph mechanisms to place or retrieve pallets from front and rear (double-deep) storage positions.
• Put-Away & Replenishment: Move incoming inventory from staging areas to high-bay rack locations and replenish pick modules.
• Order Picking & Staging: Retrieve requested SKUs and stage merchandise accurately for outbound shipping.
• Inventory Tracking: Scan barcodes and pallet licenses using RF (radio frequency) scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Inspections & Safety: Conduct mandatory pre-shift safety and mechanical inspections, report equipment defects immediately, and comply with OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Prior forklift experience required
• Experience with RF scanners preferred
• Experience operating reach trucks or similar powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to safely move, stack, retrieve, and organize palletized inventory.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices.
• Ability to accurately identify products, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and inventory accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating reach trucks in distribution centers or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating additional powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, dependability, and strong teamwork are well positioned for success as a Double Reach Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely work in warehouse environments with elevated storage racks and moving equipment.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings while operating powered industrial vehicles.
