We are seeking a

develop their career in customs entry writing. The ideal candidate possesses

direct experience working with import documentation, interacting with customs

brokers/carriers, and understands the core mechanics of U.S. Customs and

Partner Government Agency (PGA) compliance.

Essential

  • Prepare and process

import customs entries accurately and in a timely manner through CBP

  • Review commercial

invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other import documentation

to ensure absolute compliance and accuracy.

  • Classify complex

products utilizing the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).

  • Coordinate closely with

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and various Partner Government

Agencies (such as FDA, EPA, FCC, DOT, USDA, and others as required).

  • Monitor shipment

releases, examinations, holds, and official requests for information.

  • Communicate proactively

and professionally with customers regarding shipment status, documentation

requirements, and regulatory updates.

  • Maintain strict

compliance with all federal regulations, customs laws, and established

company procedures.

  • Work collaboratively

with operations teams, carriers, terminals, and government entities to

ensure smooth, efficient cargo movement.

  • Identify, document, and

escalate potential compliance concerns when necessary.

  • Maintain highly

organized and accurate records in accordance with both regulatory

standards and company policies.

•

years of hands-on experience in Import Operations, Brokerage Support,

Logistics Coordination, or Entry Writing. Candidates with a strong

operational background handling import documents and broker communication

  • Familiarity

with air/ocean import movement and local JFK airport or NY/NJ port

recovery workflows.

  • High

attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced

environment, and clear written/verbal communication skills.

  • High

school diploma or equivalent required.
