Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour + $30 per diem

Drivers annual salary is around $70k – $80K

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (Saturday work is expected when needed)
• Local/regional driving positions
• 1 – 2 layovers per week
• Dispatch times range from 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Some linehauls dispatch between 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM
• On call between 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Typical routes will involve Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana

• Freight: Touch | Automotive parts | Unload
• Equipment: Electric pallet jack

Driving Requirements

• 22+ years of age
• Valid CDL-A license
• Hazardous Materials (H) or (X) endorsement
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do

As a Class A Hazmat Delivery Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

A Class A Hazmat Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely, efficiently, and professionally while supporting the movement of products throughout the supply chain. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.

Successful Class A Hazmat Delivery Driver candidates understand vehicle operation, transportation regulations, and defensive driving practices while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting delivery schedules. Strong time management and sound decision-making help drivers adapt to changing road and weather conditions.
