Our client is looking for a Manual Machinist. The ideal candidate would have experience in the aerospace, defense, space transportation, medical and IT industries. Candidate must be familiar with AS 9100 and ISO standards.

Have experience in machining polymers and plastics. Machinist must be able to set tools in machine properly, accurately measure dimensions, read blueprints, operate machinery, and work in a team environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Quality focused and detail oriented
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly
• Must be able to stand for majority of the shift

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experienced in ability to set-up and operate manual lathe, chucker and B\' Port mill
• Strong knowledge of application of geometric tolerances, blueprints, and specifications
• Self-starter, ability to work with little or no supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to fill out required paperwork correctly
• Expert skill in precision measuring equipment
• Proficient ability to read blueprints, written and verbal instructions, measure dimensions, and check accuracy supporting aerospace industry

Education/Experience

• 5 years machining experience
• 2 years MANUAL machining experience
• High School diploma
