Job Title: Part-Time CDL Driver (Flexible Events & Field Trips – Avg. 20-25 hours/week) Location: Austin, TX (St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School) Pay Rate: $40/hr Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Schedule

At St. Michael’s Prep, you’ll help transport our energetic students and staff to athletic games, field trips, and retreats across Austin and surrounding Texas cities. Scheduling is usually done in advance, based on your availability.

• Consistent Schedule: Typically, work is available averaging 20-25 hours per week, with the exception of holidays and school breaks, giving you time back with your loved ones.
• Advance Scheduling: Event schedules are typically provided at least 1 week in advance so you can plan your life.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely transport students and staff to local and out-of-town events (athletics, field trips, retreats).
• Drive routes within Austin, with occasional trips to Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio.
• Perform quick pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure fleet safety.
• Fuel and assist with basic vehicle readiness.

Requirements

• License: Valid Class B CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement.
• Experience: At least 1 year of verifiable experience driving a bus or comparable vehicle.
• Age & Background: Must be 25+ years old (for insurance purposes) and able to pass a background check/drug screening.
• Strong safety focus and a friendly, professional attitude with students and staff.
