St. Cloud Orthopedic Associates (SCO) is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our independently owned, physician-led orthopedic practice, where you’ll partner closely with surgeons to deliver high-quality, hands-on musculoskeletal care in both clinic and OR settings while building a long-term career in a community-focused organization.

Why Join St. Cloud Orthopedic?

  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced orthopedic surgeons in clinic and OR
  • Broad scope of practice – real autonomy with strong physician support
  • Established, stable, physician-owned practice (not corporate medicine)
  • Strong community roots with loyal patient base
  • Collaborative culture where PAs are respected clinical partners
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Competitive compensation + full benefits package

What You’ll Do

As a PA at SCO, you’ll play a key role in guiding patients through their orthopedic care journey - from evaluation through recovery.

You’ll:

  • Perform orthopedic evaluations and screenings
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Assist in surgical procedures (1st or 2nd assist)
  • Perform procedures such as injections, aspirations, suturing, pin removal
  • Apply/remove casts, splints, orthotics, and dressings
  • Provide patient education with compassion and clarity
  • Document care in the EHR and coordinate with the care team
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule
  • Support continuity of care across clinic and OR settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree from an accredited PA program
  • Current Minnesota PA license (or eligible)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Orthopedic experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply)
  • Team-first mindset with strong clinical judgment
  • Comfort in both clinic and surgical environments

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on clinical role involving patient mobility support, lifting, positioning, and procedural assistance in both clinic and OR settings.
