NOW HIRING: POWER PLANT OPERATOR

Superior Skilled Trades (SST) Location: Starbase, TX Position: Long-Term Opportunity Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Power Plant Operators for a large-scale industrial power generation facility in Starbase, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot power plant equipment and systems.
• Work with generators, motors, pumps, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, UPS, and switchgear.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify operational issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
• Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
• Assist with equipment startup, shutdowns, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical, electrical, or plant operations experience.
• Experience in power generation, industrial plants, or similar environments preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, and process controls.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements.
