Head Coach - Varsity Indoor Track

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school.
• Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Relentless commitment to raising academic achievement of all student-athletes
• Organize and attend all practices and contests
• Ability to motivate students
• Ability to individualize instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of rules and strategies
• Experience as a coach preferred
• Experience as a player preferred
• Enthusiasm for the sport
• Coaching certifications preferred (NFHS)
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators and public
• Maintain high level of ethical behavior
• Available to work a flexible schedule including afternoon/evening/weekends
• Carry out other duties as assigned by athletic director that are sport or coaching related
