Staff, Morning

This position is from 6 am to 10 am, Monday through Friday. Spin Cafe is a day center for homeless and low income folks who need resources, food and a safe place to congregate. This position is for opening SPiN, however other hours may be available. Must have own transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Walk around the building several times during your shift (every 30 minutes to an hour) Get filters ready Make 2 pots of coffee Put out creamer Make sure water container is ful Make sure 3-4 water pitchers are at the ready Warm the butter for 16-24 seconds Check what morning menu is (freezer and fridge) Check to see if leftovers from previous night need to be covered. Prepare Bleach Water Set out 2 loaves of bread from freezer if not already out Put out fruit on the back counter Check that ice maker is on and full Check bathrooms for anything needing refilling/cleaning Put out flag Unlock front door Sign guests in as they enter Liquid coffee creamer, milk, juice, and all breakfast foods only served until 10:30 am (11:30 am on weekends) Set up for lunch around 11 am (12 pm on weekends). Set out lunch (sandwiches/condiments on right counter; cheesesticks on middle counter; fruit/dessert/snack on back counter) Make sure all open food/leftovers are dated after use
