Pay Rate: $17.00 / hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Position Type: Temp-to-Hire opportunity for top performers

Job Summary This is an active, heavy-lifting role focused on managing and processing physical records. You will manually retrieve, move, and stack storage boxes while operating handheld scanners and inventory software to track incoming and outgoing materials.

Responsibilities:

Continuously lift, retrieve, and carry storage boxes weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the entire shift.

Safely climb step ladders to pull or store boxes from elevated shelving.

Load, shrink-wrap, and stack pallets using hand carts, pallet jacks, and material handling aids.

Execute physical tasks including frequent bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, and standing for long periods.

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:

Dependability: Highly reliable work ethic with a proven track record of following through on commitments. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site in Port Allen.

Qualifications:

Screening: Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to placement. Physical & Technical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, climb step ladders, read/write English for order processing, and operate handheld scanners. Dress Code: Need steel toed work shoes
