Job Posting:

Special Education Paraprofessional - 7.5 hour day, 175 day contract

Job Summary:

• Assists teacher in organizing the learning environment, preparing materials and equipment, and completing other tasks as directed by teaching staff and/or building principal
• Supervises students in a variety of educational settings
• Communicates and works cooperatively with parents, students and staff
• Presents a positive attitude by appearance, personal habits and punctuality
• Maintains confidentiality and data privacy
• Adheres to school policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by the building principal

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community
• Commitment to an equitable education experience for all
