Business Manager - Lake City Public Schools Nestled along the Mississippi River on scenic Lake Pepin, Lake City offers breathtaking bluffs, world-class sailing and golf courses, and a vibrant community, just 40 minutes from Rochester and an hour from the Twin Cities. Lake City Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Business Manager to lead the district's financial operations. Reporting directly to the Superintendent, you will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, payroll and benefits, and annual audits, ensuring our resources directly support our mission to Educate, Empower, and Excel.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (school finance or fund accounting preferred)
- Knowledge of UFARS accounting and MASBO certification (or willingness to become certified)
- Proven experience in budgeting, audit preparation, and payroll/benefits oversight
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Position Details:
- Type: 12-Month Contract (Support Staff Fringe Benefit Agreement)
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
