SOLTECH is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client, an established professional services organization in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Our client manages a high volume of concurrent client engagements and is looking for a Project Manager who can bring greater structure, visibility, and accountability to project execution. This individual will oversee multiple projects, coordinate resources and priorities, monitor timelines and budgets, and help establish more effective project management processes.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who enjoys solving operational challenges, improving workflows, and partnering directly with executive leadership.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience in a professional services environment, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to independently identify and implement practical improvements.

This is an onsite role in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent client projects, ensuring deliverables are completed according to established schedules, budgets, and expectations.

• Provide centralized oversight of project status, milestones, dependencies, resource assignments, and potential risks.

• Establish and improve project management processes, workflows, and reporting practices to strengthen operational efficiency.

• Coordinate work across multiple team members, balancing competing priorities and resource availability.

• Proactively identify project delays, workflow bottlenecks, budget overruns, and resource constraints, recommending corrective actions.

• Develop consistent approaches to project tracking, accountability, communication, and issue escalation.

• Help define project dashboards, performance indicators, and reporting that provide leadership with actionable visibility into project performance.

• Collaborate with leadership and technical resources to improve the organization's existing case management and project reporting capabilities.

• Evaluate opportunities to reduce unnecessary delays, improve resource utilization, and support more predictable project delivery.

• Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, providing informed recommendations and driving agreed-upon operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on project management experience, including responsibility for multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.

• Demonstrated experience managing project timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Proven ability to establish, implement, or improve project management processes and operational workflows.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing work involving multiple stakeholders.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational issues and implement practical solutions.

• Experience developing or improving project reporting, status tracking, and performance visibility.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership.

• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of project execution and process improvements.

• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, Georgia, five days per week initially.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Candidates with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.

• Project management experience in professional services, consulting, research, legal services, or similar client-focused environments.

• Experience overseeing a portfolio of projects with varying timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.

• Experience establishing project management practices in organizations with evolving or less formalized processes.

• Familiarity with project management dashboards, resource capacity planning, and operational performance reporting.

• Experience collaborating with technical teams to enhance project tracking or case management systems.

What Success Looks Like

The successful Project Manager will help our client move from reactive project oversight toward a more structured, proactive approach to managing its portfolio of work.

Key objectives include:

• Providing leadership with a clear, reliable view of active projects, schedules, budgets, and risks.

• Improving coordination and accountability across team members and project assignments.

• Identifying delays, resource constraints, and budget concerns before they significantly affect delivery.

• Establishing practical project management processes that support consistent execution.

• Improving overall operational efficiency and predictability of project delivery.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The position requires working onsite five days per week initially to develop a thorough understanding of the organization's operations, team dynamics, and existing systems.
