Original job description

Archived listing. The details below describe a past opening.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an elementary classroom, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or as a Behavioral Tech/Para with significant experience in behavior and ASD. Spend your days onsite providing direct support, collaborating with a school-based BCBA, and making a positive, measurable difference in young lives.

This assignment runs from October 2026 through May 2027, offering a well-structured full-time schedule: 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Each day brings fresh challenges and opportunities to use evidence-based strategies in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification (required for RBT applicants; please provide a copy with your resume)
  • OR: Para/Behavior Tech applicants must demonstrate solid experience supporting students with ASD/behavioral needs in a classroom - not just 1:1 roles
  • Proven background working in behavioral settings is critical; applications lacking this experience will not be considered
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating under BCBA supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with the implementation of behavioral interventions in an elementary classroom setting
  • Work closely with school staff and the supervising BCBA to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Collect behavioral data and assist in the development and execution of behavior support plans
  • Adapt strategies as needed to meet individual student needs

This is your chance to make a real impact in the lives of students, while working alongside other dedicated professionals in an engaging school environment. If you thrive in behavior-focused settings and have the required credentials or experience, we invite you to apply now by submitting your resume and RBT certification. Let your expertise shine and help create positive change - apply today!
