Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Hamilton, OH

Step into a rewarding role as an Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, where you’ll provide expertise and compassionate care in diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. As a valued IR Tech, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians and the medical team to assist in a variety of procedures that improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and operating imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures
• Accurately positioning patients and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Following strict protocols for infection control and radiologic safety
• Assisting physicians during minimally invasive procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging guidance
• Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and condition before, during, and after procedures
• Maintaining thorough procedural documentation and imaging records
• Managing inventory and supplies for the IR suite, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
• Communicating with patients and families to explain procedures and provide support

Ideal qualifications and experience:

• Certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Specialized training or experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
• Familiarity with modern IR imaging systems and sterile technique
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective teamwork and patient rapport
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in urgent medical situations
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute-care setting preferred

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
