Instructional Aide - Gridley, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in a school environment preferred
• Comfort and competence supporting virtual learning platforms
• Ability to bring students to the computer for scheduled speech sessions
• Skilled in printing and preparing session materials and resources
• Willingness to assist students throughout speech sessions as directed
• Active participant in collaborative team meetings and daily communication
• Strong organizational skills and a reliable work ethic
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic, student-centered environment
• Must demonstrate a supportive attitude and a commitment to helping students thrive

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support speech-language pathologists during remote therapy sessions
• Facilitate smooth transitions for students between classrooms and virtual sessions
• Prepare, print, and distribute session materials as needed
• Provide hands-on assistance to students during virtual speech therapy
• Coordinate with teachers and related service staff to uphold best practices
• Engage in team discussions and contribute to planning for student success
• Maintain a positive and respectful rapport with students, staff, and families
