Solar Engineer

Solar Energy Solutions LLC seeks a FT Solar Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Position will design & engineer solar energy systems for residential, commercial & industrial applications; collaborate w/ project team to develop solar system layouts using AutoCAD & perform system simulations w/ Helioscope; analyze customer reqs. & site conditions to provide tailored solar system solutions; perform electrical calculations & system sizing, ensuring all designs meet local codes, regulations & standards; conduct site assessments and propose solar energy solutions based on available space, sun exposure & energy needs; prepare & review engineering drawings, schematics & documentation for submission to clients & regulatory bodies; coordinate w/ procurement & construction teams to ensure accurate system installation; support installation & commissioning process to ensure designs are implemented as intended; & maintain knowledge of current solar industry trends, technologies & regulatory standards. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, solar engineering, a related technical field, or foreign equivalent & 1 yr exp in solar system design, incl. hands-on exp. w/ both AutoCAD & Helioscope software.
