- Customer Service . Greet customers professionally and provide friendly, courteous service. 2. Cash Register and Transactions .Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. .Provide accurate change to customers. 3. Stocking and Merchandising . Restock shelves, coolers, beverages, snacks, tobacco products, and other merchandise. Qualifications . Strong customer service and communication skills. . Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately. . Ability to learn and operate a POS system. . Dependability, punctuality, honesty, and attention to detail. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. . Previous cashier or convenience store experience is preferred but not required. Employer will do a drug test and a criminal background check.
