Help People Turn Goals Into Action SNAP is seeking a compassionate, resourceful, and relationship-driven Peer Support Coordinator to help individuals identify their goals, build self-sufficiency, and improve their overall well-being.
This position is about more than connecting people to services. It is about meeting individuals where they are, listening to what matters most to them, helping them see what is possible, and working alongside them as they take meaningful steps toward greater stability and independence.
Using a strength-based, person-centered approach, the Peer Support Coordinator helps clients create individualized action plans and connects them with resources that may support housing stability, financial wellness, employment, transportation, energy assistance, home repair, health and wellness, and other essential needs.
If you are someone who builds trust easily, understands the importance of dignity and respect, enjoys helping people navigate complicated systems, and believes that people are capable of creating positive change in their lives, we want to hear from you.

Must have clean driving record and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass Department of Transportation drug testing and secure DOT Medical Clearance. Must be age 21 or over.
Preferred: Strong preference for lived or professional experience related to low-income, underserved populations, with varied health economic and educational circumstances. Bi-lingual speaker. An AA Degree in a related field and one year of experience in fields related including Peer Support and client transportation or some combination of education and experience totaling two years. CPR Certification preferred.
