Shipping & Receiving Associate

SMS Staffing is hiring Shipping & Receiving Associates in Spring Grove, IL! Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081 Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00/hr. Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, preparing shipping documentation, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities for Shipping and Receiving Associate:

• Pack, unpack, and process orders.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Load and unload packages from trucks.
• Prepare shipping labels and maintain accurate records.
• Organize inventory and label deliveries.
• Process returns and report damaged or incorrect shipments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications for Shipping and Receiving Associate:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties safely.
