Smoky Hill, LLC has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Heavy Equipment Operator

We are currently seeking a heavy equipment operator for our projects throughout Kansas.

We are looking for someone who has 2 years of experience operating equipment such as: Excavators, motor graders, loaders, dozers, pavers, trimmers, etc.

Job Description

Maintain the equipment as required and without reminders:

• Check and fill all fluids
• Clean cab, mirrors, and glasses
• Monitor gages
• Check tires/tracks
• All Lubrications are required at intervals
• Look for wear points/listen for unusual noises
• Report all incidents, accidents, safety violations, and maintenance deficiencies

Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel
• 2 years of experience
• The applicant must be safety minded about themselves and others
• Must be able to work efficiently with others
• Must be able to assist in other areas as needed
• Must be willing to show up to work every day
