Press Operator

• Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening for Press Operator! This position works from our plant in New Paris, IN. Press Operator starting pay is $21.97/hr. and with positive reviews can be increased to $23.97/hr after 60 days. After the first week of work, employees are eligible for an Attendance Bonus averaging an additional $50/week! Shift Schedule is 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime can be scheduled until 4:30 pm during the week, and possible Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a Press machine to shape, bend, form metal sheets, frames, and structural components for aluminum boats.
• Loading/Unloading heavy aluminum sheets
• Read and follow blueprints
• Inspect finished metal parts

Required skills and experience:

• Machine Operation experience preferred such as CNC, Press, Routers
• Ability to bend, squat/crouch, reach, kneel, push/pull, twist
• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints

Schedule:

-8 to 10 hour shift -Day shift 6 am - 2:30 pm, up to 4:30 with overtime -Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed
