Customer Service Representative

Description At Slaymaker Electric & Motor, our Customer Service Representatives are the face of our business. They create a positive first impression by providing outstanding service to customers over the phone and in person while helping keep our service department running efficiently.

Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday Hours: 7 AM- 3:30 PM (occasional overtime required)

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
• Welcome customers and provide exceptional service in person and over the phone.
• Write up repair orders with accurate customer and equipment information.
• Assist customers with dropping off and picking up electric motors and equipment.
• Communicate repair updates and completion status to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure work orders are complete and accurate.
• Process customer payments and complete service paperwork.
• Enter and maintain repair orders in the shop management system.
• Maintain an organized front office and customer service area.
• Support daily administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday.
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Work in both an office and shop environment.
