What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on Jira Administration support to ensure continuity of service during a critical CDHS BITS administrator transition
- Serve as short-term backfill for Jira Administration, maintaining platform stability during an active vacancy
- Stabilize and evolve the existing Atlassian ecosystem to support ongoing delivery and customer needs
- Design and establish a scalable future-state Atlassian architecture that separates internal BITS work management from externally hosted "Jira as a Service" tenants
- Partner with stakeholders to redesign the Jira Service Management (JSM) Customer Portal with a stronger customer-centric focus
- Align portal design and workflows to BITS' four Customer Pillars
- Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition planning to set internal teams up for success post-engagement
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Jira Administrator supporting enterprise or public-sector environments
- Hands-on expertise administering Jira and Jira Service Management (JSM), including workflows, permissions, and service portals
- Experience stabilizing and improving Atlassian environments during periods of change or transition
- Ability to think strategically about Atlassian architecture while delivering immediate, tactical support
- Experience partnering with business and IT stakeholders to design customer-focused service portals
- Strong communication skills and comfort operating independently in a short-term, high-impact engagement
- Ability to quickly assess current-state environments and prioritize actions that drive stability and value

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly pay range is $55 to $65hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
