Mechanical Engineer III

A growing custom industrial equipment manufacturer in the east St. Paul area is seeking a Design Engineer III to add senior-level technical depth to its mechanical engineering team.

This role is centered on the design and development of customized industrial machinery from initial customer requirements through detailed design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and final installation. The successful candidate will lead 3-4 concurrent projects, develop equipment concepts and production-ready designs in SolidWorks, perform structural and mechanical calculations, specify hydraulic and pneumatic components, and work closely with customers, vendors, and the manufacturing floor throughout the build process.

In addition to owning complex design projects, this engineer will help improve engineering standards and processes, mentor less-experienced engineers, and support the company's continued expansion into larger and more integrated equipment and automation projects
