- Onsite gym
- Remote work, with travel to our Grand Rapids office up to 20% of the time

What You'll Do
As the IFS Specialist, you'll join our growing IFS team within Business Technology Services, owning second-line functional support and improvements across supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and finance as we complete our move from IFS Apps 8 to IFS Cloud in early 2027. You will:
- Provide functional IFS support by investigating transactional and business process issues, identifying root causes, and resolving them with users
- Learn how each team uses IFS and document repeatable solutions in the team's shared library
- Make standard configuration changes within your areas of expertise
- Test and validate changes, and support the transition to IFS Cloud and its stabilization after go-live
- Partner with the Business Systems Analyst on requirements, solution options, and improvement requests, and with the IFS Manager on priorities and solution design
- Develop deeper expertise in IFS configuration, including custom fields, events, lobbies, and Quick Reports
- Expand your SQL and technical investigation skills to troubleshoot complex data and integration issues, including WADACO handheld data collection, Vertex, Pacejet, and order import
- Use AI-assisted development to create and maintain supported configurations, reports, and tools, tested and validated before release
- Build experience with IFS Cloud administration, security, and release management
- Help design business processes for new capabilities, including Service Management, warranty, and IFS Projects for installation work
- Support occasional after-hours release updates and critical issues, and travel to the Grand Rapids office as needed
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone analytical, curious, and collaborative. The ideal candidate will:
- Understand the business process behind the screen and how IFS modules depend on each other
- Troubleshoot functional issues and identify root causes, consulting with the IFS Manager or other resources as needed
- Approach AI-assisted tools with curiosity and sound judgment, testing what they produce and knowing when to ask for help
- Communicate clearly with non-technical users and maintain thorough, well-organized documentation
- Take ownership of functional areas and improvements, working independently while continuing to expand their knowledge across the system
- Work cooperatively with others and contribute positively to team results
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with IFS Cloud or IFS Applications (Apps 8–10); IFS Cloud experience strongly preferred
- Strong experience in at least one functional area, such as supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, service, or projects
- Basic SQL skills, including querying data, joining tables, and investigating records; advanced SQL or PL/SQL is a plus
- Experience with IFS Service Management, warranty, or IFS Projects (preferred)
- Experience with custom fields, events, lobbies, and Quick Reports (preferred)
- Experience migrating from IFS Applications to IFS Cloud (preferred)
- Experience in medical equipment distribution or manufacturing (preferred)
