Diesel Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Diesel Mechanic Helper to assist experienced technicians in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of agricultural and construction equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the heavy equipment or diesel mechanic field. The successful candidate will learn proper repair procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. ### Key Responsibilities: - Assist diesel mechanics with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural and construction equipment. - Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and fluid checks. - Clean, organize, and prepare equipment and work areas for repairs. - Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment under supervision. - Assist with replacing parts such as hoses, belts, batteries, filters, and other components. - Help diagnose basic mechanical problems and learn troubleshooting techniques. - Load, unload, and transport parts, tools, and equipment as needed. - Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned ### Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. - Ability to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
