ABOUT THE POSITION

The Millwright is responsible for providing high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance throughout Skyland Grain facilities. This position may be based out of one of our Energy locations in Johnson, KS; Preston, KS; Ulysses, KS; Hugoton, KS; or Sunray, TX.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and complete critical repairs as needed.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication across Skyland Grain locations.
• Attend required training and safety meetings.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to frequently climb ladders and stairs.
