The Role:
This role offers an opportunity to work as an MRI Technologist performing advanced imaging procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will use your technical skills to ensure patient safety and provide high quality diagnostic images. The position requires evening shifts and weekend work, ideal for candidates seeking a stable full-time role in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform various Radiology Services procedures at a technical level without constant supervision · Conduct a variety of imaging and documentation procedures including Radiology procedures · Apply prescribed ionizing radiation and/or MRI for radiologic diagnosis · Ensure patient safety protocols are followed · Serve as first line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs · Assist in the department of Radiology and support its functions · Prioritize patient care and deliver high quality imaging services
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher
- Radiology (1+ years)
- 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Meditech ITS – Imaging
- Meditech MRI – Medical Records
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/license in the state of New York (NY)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
