Lattice Boom Crane Operator

We are seeking an experienced Lattice Boom Crane Operator to operate a Link-Belt 218 crawler crane on construction projects in the Woodbridge, VA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent equipment operation skills, and experience working in commercial or industrial construction environments.

Pay and Schedule:

Pay Rate: Starting at $35.00/hour Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours guaranteed Job Duration: 3 months

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Link-Belt 218 lattice boom crawler crane.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Lift, move, and position materials according to site plans and supervisor direction.
• Communicate effectively with riggers, signal persons, and site management.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs and inspection reports.
• Assist with crane setup, teardown, and jobsite mobilization as needed.

Requirements

• Current NCCCO Lattice Boom Crane Operator Certification (or equivalent recognized certification).
• Minimum of 3 years of crane operating experience.
• Experience operating a Link-Belt 218 or similar lattice boom crawler crane preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing.
• Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and crane safety procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• Current Signal Person and/or Rigger Certification.
• Experience on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction projects.
