WHO WE ARE:
Simpli.fi provides marketing technologies, solutions, and workflow automation for advertisers and agencies of all sizes. We specialize in helping organizations that operate across many locations, jurisdictions, or local markets - where location matters and incrementality counts - by uniting data, automation, and intelligence to drive measurable growth.
Our platform powers highly targeted, high-volume campaigns across omnichannel environments including CTV, native, mobile, display, and social. We deliver transparent performance with local precision at national scale. Simpli.fi enables marketers - from multi-location brands and independent agencies who serve them, to political, advocacy, and public-affairs organizations - to activate locally relevant messaging, measure real-world impact, and generate clear, actionable insights.
Simpli.fi is backed by leading private equity firms Blackstone and GTCR. To learn more, visit Simpli.fi.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Simpli.fi is currently looking for a Corporate Systems Engineer III who will Build the integrations and internal tools that power our corporate systems. You’ll write code to automate onboarding, access changes, and offboarding, and help replace manual admin work with reliable automation and version-controlled infrastructure as code.
You’ll work with a distributed Digital Workplace team that includes systems engineers, endpoint security engineers, and Desktop Support. You’ll report directly to the Director of Digital Workplace & Security and won’t have anyone reporting to you.
Digital Workplace helps people get their work done with fewer interruptions and less manual work. You’ll connect employee and contractor data with identity platforms and SaaS applications, and build automations for teams such as Sales, Customer Success, People Operations, Billing, and Operations.
We use Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and other workplace applications. You’ll help run the SaaS platforms our team looks after, as well as building integrations between them. The work combines code, APIs, infrastructure as code, and workflow tools. You’ll help choose the right approach for each problem and support what you build.
We welcome software developers, integration engineers, DevOps engineers, and systems engineers with strong development skills. You don’t need to have used our specific identity platforms. That experience helps, and your teammates will help you learn how we use these systems.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Develop and maintain automations, integrations, and internal tools with Python or another suitable language, REST APIs, and workflow platforms. Build shared libraries and internal APIs where they make the work easier to reuse and support.
- Make onboarding, role changes, access provisioning, and offboarding work reliably for employees and contractors across our applications.
- Improve and support business applications our team looks after, including Salesforce and Zendesk. Automate tasks such as client onboarding or moving data between sales tools.
- Design workflows that still work when an account already exists, a request gets repeated, something fails partway through, or a vendor’s system has limits.
- Build self-service access workflows that connect approvals, provisioning, notifications, and audit records.
- Use version control to manage application access and configuration, with Terraform where it fits.
- Track down production failures, figure out what caused them, and fix problems that keep coming back.
- Help investigate security issues with Desktop Support and endpoint security engineers, tracing changes to accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Talk with employees, application owners, People Operations, Information Security, Sales Operations, and other teams to understand how they work and what they’re trying to get done. Agree on the problem before choosing a tool or building a solution.
- Write meaningful tests, review changes with teammates, check that deployments work, and keep docs clear enough for another engineer to run or change the system.
YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- You’ve built software or automation in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or a similar language, and you’ve debugged and maintained it.
- You’ve connected systems through APIs and worked with authentication, pagination, rate limits, and error handling.
- You think through what happens to data and system state when an operation gets repeated, interrupted, or only partly completed.
- You’ve used Git, code review, and meaningful tests to make changes other people can maintain.
- You can figure out an unfamiliar system by reading logs and docs, testing ideas, and working with teammates.
- You handle credentials, permissions, sensitive information, and production systems with care and good judgment.
- You can work out what someone needs, turn it into clear requirements, and explain your technical choices in language they understand.
- You ask why a process exists, check assumptions, and look for ways to make it better for the people using it.
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
- Identity and access concepts such as SSO, provisioning, lifecycle management, and role-based access.
- Okta, Entra, Auth0, or another identity platform.
- Terraform, Terragrunt, CI/CD, or other ways to manage configuration in code.
- Low-code automation platforms such as Okta Workflows, n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Deploying small services or internal tools on cloud platforms.
- Slack apps, chatbots, or integrations with workplace applications.
- These are examples, and we don’t expect you to know every product on the list.
WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS:
Awesome company environment and benefits with a great management team. Competitive pay based on experience, 17 PTO days, 401K match, long-term incentive plan and employer sponsored healthcare options. Hybrid work schedule. The company is focused on developing and mentoring employees!
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
