Assembly Operator

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an Assembly Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for the meticulous assembly, precise testing, efficient troubleshooting, and careful repair of our esteemed customers' products. The ideal candidate will exhibit a commitment to safety, quality, timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and teamwork.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembly and Delivery:

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair customers' products.
• Execute assembly tasks within prescribed cycle times as outlined in standard work instructions.
• Implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce scrap through skillful and diligent practices.

Safety and Quality:

• Prioritize safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to safeguard both personnel and products.
• Consistently deliver work of the highest quality that meets or exceeds established standards.

Teamwork and Flexibility:

• Foster a respectful and collaborative workplace environment conducive to effective teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in working with hands.
• Demonstrated familiarity with hand tools and experience handling hand-held parts and fasteners.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting, prioritizing effective communication and cooperation with internal colleagues.
• Willingness and capability to adhere to attendance requirements and follow the daily shop schedule diligently.

Preferred Background:

• Technical or vocational training in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements

Electronic Testing/R&D:

• This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
